Calypso music is a bright and lively type of music that started among enslaved Africans in Trinidad in the 1700s. In Dominica, King Dice, whose real name is Dennison Joseph, is a big deal. He’s won the Calypso King title ten times, showing just how much people love his music. He knows how to touch people’s hearts with his words and tunes.
